Carton packaging
Sort the carton packaging waste in the property’s carton bin or at a Rinki eco-point.
- drinks cartons
- other cardboard containers, wrappings, cartridges and trays
- paper bags
- cardboard boxes
Packaging must be empty, clean and dry.
Flatten the packaging and place inside one box. When the cartons are flattened, it is possible to empty the collection containers less frequently.
UNSUITABLE MATERIALS
- Plastic: e.g. plastic bags and wrappings, polystyrene, bubble wrap
- Batteries or electronic devices
What happens to carton waste after sorting?
At a carton plant, recycled cartons are used to produce raw materials for corrugated cardboard, packaging cartons, envelopes, laminated paper and cardboard cartridges.
