Salpakierto arranges waste collection in sparsely populated areas in Heinola, Kärkölä and Artjärvi in Orimattila. In the other areas of the region, property owners/holders sign an agreement on waste collection with a service provider of their choice.

Salpakierto arranges the collection in all the properties with 5 or more households in urban areas as well as in smaller properties with 1-4 households in urban areas with more than 10 000 habitans (centre of Lahti, Heinola and Hollola and Nastolan kirkonkylä).
All properties can order collection services voluntarily.
