Hello students! Hop on board and discover the journey of waste at Kujala!

Hello students! Come along and see what’s happening in today’s waste management centre. During the tour, the guide will introduce the various functions of Kujala Waste Centre and the circulation, processing and utilization of waste.

Salpakierto Oy offers a free guided tour for international students in the Lahti area; the tour is conducted in English, and advance registration is required.

The tour will take place on Thursday, 26 November 2026 at 14:00 and will last approximately 75 minutes in total. The bus will depart from the Niemi campus at Mukkulankatu 19, in front of Isku Center, tour the Kujala Waste Centre and return to the departure point via the Lahti Travel Centre.

Every participant will receive cool overall patch and paper biowaste bags to take home.

Book your place on the tour soon, as seats on the bus are limited. The registration deadline is Sunday, 22 November 2026.

Please arrive at the departure point by 13:50, as the bus will leave at 14:00 sharp.

Salpakierto Oy reserves the right to cancel the tour if there are not enough registered participants by the registration deadline. If the tour is cancelled, we will notify registered participants by email.
